City Compost Site
The compost site will open on Saturday, April 3, 2010. The site is located east of Whitewater Avenue on Bark River Drive behind Memorial Park. The final day the site will be open is Saturday, December 6, 2010 (weather permitting). The hours are:

• Wednesdays 3 p.m. to dusk
• Saturdays 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Brush Pickup
The city provides brush pickup to the north side of the city during the 1st full week of each month and to the south side of the city during the 2nd full week of each month. Only brush that is more than 3/4" in diameter at the cut end and more than 3' in length should be put out for brush pick-up. Anything smaller will plug the chipper and must be taken to the Compost Site or City Garage by the resident. Brush should be put at the curb, piled neatly, with the cut end facing the street. Residents should call the City Garage (563-7771) to leave their address before the Monday of their scheduled pick-up.
