Pet Licensing

Dog and cat licenses are now available in the Clerk’s Office. The licenses are good from January 1 through December 31.

License your pet in one of two ways:
1.  Bring the following to the Clerk’s Office
    Your pet’s most recent rabies information
    Written proof of altering (neutering or spaying), and. . .
    The License Fee:

Dogs$10.00$15.00
Cats$8.00$ 9.00

Or
2.  Mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope along with the above information and fee and we will mail the license back to you.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • If you do not renew your pet license by April 2, 2012, a $5.00 late fee is charged per State Statute. After April 2, all records will be forwarded to the police department for further action.
  • The quantity of pets allowed per household in the City is 3 dogs and/or 3 cats, per Municipal Ordinance.
  • If you no longer have your pet, please contact the clerk's office to have them removed from the database.
